Cruise in Company
Throughout the summer the club organises “Cruise in Company” weekends to destinations around the Bristol Channel. Trips are regularly made to Gloucester, Lydney, Chepstow (St Pierre Pill), Newport, Uskmouth, Barry, Swansea, Thornbury, Clevedon, Weston Bay, Cardiff YC, Cardiff Bay YC, Watchet, Minehead and Ilfracombe. This is usually to attend a rally or regatta held by another club or on other occasions, the destination is agreed upon during the preceding wednesday “club night”. As these cruises involve in an overnight stay, a restaurant is sometimes booked in advance to accommodate the group.
Those new to cruiser sailing or the Bristol Channel are particularly encouraged to participate in these events.
