Happy New Year everyone!
Quick reminder that our first race of 2017 is this Saturday – KOR1 starts off Portishead pier at 12:50.
Also to confirm that the 2017 Sailing Calendar previously issued is no longer ‘Draft’ – I’ve attached a version without the word draft stamped across it. 2017 NoR and SIs will be issued shortly.
Finally a reminder that prize giving is on Sat 21st Jan – in addition to drinks, food and prize giving there will be a presentation on the IRC rating – it’s likely that some boats will adopt this in 2017. We will also touch on the NHC handicap system as a potential replacement for PY / Byron. Both IRC and NHC are just discussion points at the moment, so if you’d like to have a say on our handicap system then do join us!
